Peace Week Assembly
Echoes of “Best Assembly Ever!” are still reverberating throughout the school in regards to the fantastic Peace Week Assembly on Thursday! What an energizing and uplifting celebration of the Mills Lawn Community in honor of this spring’s kickoff for Project Peace! The exciting program for the assembly included: Sixth grade students’ stop motion animation Peace Dictionary Words; the Bulldog Cheer accompanied by the school mascot; Ms. Reichert’s and Coach West’s “I am a Peacemaker” Call and Response; the Choir’s beautiful Peace Song; and the “Bulldog Brave” Video featuring teachers dancing to “Brave”.
Also, in honor of the International Day of Happiness, we closed out the assembly by all dancing to Pharrel Williams “Happy”! Thank you to Bulldog News Crew Joseph, Ivan, Max, and Sophie for photographing and filming the assembly. A big thank you to Megan Bachman as well for these terrific photos of the afternoon, and thank you to all of the students, teachers, and staff who made this such an amazing kickoff for Project Peace!
