D.R.U.M. Code

Third grade students are Mills Lawn are participating in a special Project Peace grant funded project during Music with Mrs. Reichert titled, “D.R.U.M. Code” or “Discipline, Respect, and Unity through Music” with guest musician Darren Gilley, who lives in North Carolina. I was able to take a first listen during one of their rehearsal sessions earlier this week and get a feel for the range of volume, rhythm, and collaboration that is achieved as students drum. We’re looking forward to hearing more at the upcoming assembly this Friday!
