First Grade Messages of Kindness

On Monday, Ms. Armstrong’s first graders enthusiastically shared messages of kindness during their visiting artist session with Mrs. Paul. After reviewing One, the class talked about standing up against bullying and using kind words instead of hurtful one. Some examples from the students were: “Let’s be friends!”; “I like you, you’re nice!”; “We can be friends. Would you like to play together?”; “No! It’s not okay to be a bully.” Students are continuing to build on the guiding concept of developing techniques to support ourselves and others.
